Ο Steve Gurley ήταν πίσω στα 1992 μέλος των Foul Play, ενός υπογείως επιδραστικού Jungle σχήματος που κυκλοφορούσε 12" στους κόλπους της Mooving Shadow. Ο Burial αναφέρει συχνά τον ήχο των Foul Play και το πόσο κοντά είναι στη δική του αντίληψη για το original junglist vibe.
