Most of the old school u.k. rap mixes doing the rounds seem to focus on the ‘britcore’ style (angry raps/ noisy loops/ frantic scratching). I’ve included a few of those jams, but i tried to focus more on the midtempo steppers for this one. All of these tunes will be familiar to brit-rap diehards but were largely ignored outside of the u.k., which is a shame because some of them were way ahead of the curve. [MEKSTRAVISION]
Flashback στην πρώτη εποχή του breakbeat. Η Βρετανία στην αρχή των 90's, όταν η χορευτική μουσική είχε ακόμα πολλά ποδάρια. Ο Dj Mek έζησε από κοντά αυτή την εποχή, λίγο πριν η cut-up και mc κουλτούρα επιτεθεί μαζικά στους house και techno ρυθμούς, προκαλώντας τα γνωστά αποτελέσματα.
